Morituri Salutamus

ロングフェローの美しい言葉は、Morituri Salutamusという題の詩の最後の一節でした。
For age is opportunity no less,
Than youth itself, though in another dress,
And as the evening twilight fades away,
The sky is filled with stars, invisible by day.

詩を眺めたのですが、私の語学力ではどんな詩かよくわかりませんでした。
